第58回東京エリアDebian勉強会、2009年11月勉強会

京オリンピック青少年総合センターで開催しました 。参加者は、あけどさん、なかおさん、吉田さん、やまねさん、山本さん、本庄さん、日比野さん、あらきさん、高橋(emasaka)さん、つじたさん、岩松さん、まえだの12名でした。

Debian での数学ことはじめとして、gnuplot, Octave, Rの入門についての話を私が行いました。gnuplot と R でのプロットのやり方と、R と Octave のそれぞれの拡張パッケージである CRAN, Octave-Forge からの Debian パッケージ化するためのポイントポイントについて議論できたので、参加された方はgnuplot と Rを自習して使えるようになると同時に、Octave-Forge と CRAN の拡張パッケージをガンガン Debian パッケージにするべく ITP していることでしょう。なかおさんに内容フォローして頂けたの助かりました。

もう一つのネタとして岩松さんが Debian auto-builder ネットワークについての話をされました。Debian を支える重要なシステムであるにも関わらず、このシステムを理解している DD も少ないとのことなので、とても意義のあるセッションでした。特にドキュメント化されていない loop-depends の対応の話には溜飲を下ろした人が多かったのではないかと思います。今回の話で、auto-builderに興味を持ったヒトは、ぜひ Debian/SH4のポーティングに参加しましょう。

宴会は、石臼挽きたて蕎麦と酒肴の店 心粋 参宮橋店にて。Rolf さんが宴会から合流され、宴会場でのキーサインパーティが行われました。

Kinko’sでの印刷を初経験してみて。

成り行き上、Kinko’sでの印刷も初めて体験したのですが、結構中綴じ製本で出力手数料が意外と高い(600)ですな。セルフサービスでは製本はできないみたいなので、ある程度人数見込めないと、この部分を吸収できないないなぁ。他にもうちょい安いオンラインプリント無いもんでしょうかね。

店舗で探してもまったく無いので。

地元、調布、新宿、会社の書店で探しても一向に見当たらないので、Amazonで注文した。Amazonのランキングは確かに上位だが、そんなに在庫無いもんなのだろうか？他の有象無象のiPhone本はアホみたいに平積みされているというのに。

Debian Meeting in Tokyo 59th.

Yesterday, Debian JP Project held the 59th Tokyo Debian Meeting in the Tokyo Olynpic Center . I made a speech of gnuplot, Octave, R. Iwamatsu-san made a speech of Debian auto-builder network. We didthe key sign party at drinking party in Shinki .

となっていたのだが、何が原因か分からず、取り合えず放置していた。誰かのrssがダメなのかと思って一つ一つ無効にして実行してみたがダメだった。複数のrssが同時に同じ状態だったとしたら一つ一つ無効にして試すやり方ではだめだな。
